How We Work With and Support Critical Public Organizations

Critical Public Organizations

As a company, we actively encourage volunteer engagement—particularly within organizations that serve a critical role in society.

Participating as a volunteer or serving periodically in a civil or defense-related organization means contributing to the public good alongside your regular work. Some roles may involve being on call or attending mandatory training sessions throughout the year. During these times, emergency deployments may occur at any hour and could require extended absences at undisclosed locations.

To take leave from your regular duties for such activities, approval from your primary employer is required—unless the engagement is under the command of the Swedish Armed Forces.

Strategic Partnership with the Swedish Armed Forces

At Tyr Cyber Defense, we have a generous policy in place to support employees who contribute to a more resilient Sweden through voluntary and part-time engagements. In collaboration with the Swedish Armed Forces, we aim to make it easier for our employees to hold part-time roles within the Armed Forces while remaining fully employed with us.

We also work actively to support a sustainable and inclusive labor market. This includes encouraging youth to enter the workforce, promoting workplace diversity, and enabling career transitions throughout every stage of professional life. Collaboration between employers and public institutions is critical to the Armed Forces’ ability to maintain operational readiness. As a defense-adjacent company, we see this cooperation as a valuable opportunity for mutual knowledge-sharing and national resilience.

In addition to our partnership with the Swedish Armed Forces (https://forsvarsmakten.se/), we encourage employee involvement in other essential organizations, such as:
